the White Album takes you to the most places in one listen. From heavy rock to country to music hall to reggae to blues to folk to classical etc....
it just transports you off to all these different worlds. my second fave album after revolver. can listen to this all day. Just a great, great album.

White Album- The apex of popular music. So many good cuts and musical variations. Any aspiring musician should make this their Bible. I've listened to this hundreds of times & still hear something new. Just yesterday, I was listening to Sexy Sadie & it dawned on me that the backing vocals on the part "you laid it down for all to see" segues perfectly to the chorus (see, see, see, see,....Sexy). It gave me a whole new way of listening to it. Of further interest would be the White Sessions bootleg. On one track Macca labors with the lyrics & structure of Blackbird.
It was interesting listening to the origins of one of my favorites. You also get control room gibberish from Yoko (almost 8 minutes worth!) & kind of get the feeling of where everything went wrong.

I vote for "Back in the USSR" as the best track on the White Album.
As a matter of fact, it's my favorite Beatle track of them all !!!!

I am with you on Back In the USSR, but Martha is also a good choise.

Everybody's Got Something To Hide, Glass Onion & Happiness Is A Warm Gun have always been 3 of my favorites. There's just so many from this album though, really tough to pick.

Unless you're very opinionated (or stonr-minded, if you will) on acertain album track (LIKE I AM, with Back in the USSR), then I believe it's incredibly hard to choose a best track off the White Album - probably as hard as things like that get !

yes, henry...the beatles were doing quite a bit of illegals ( and i'm not talking yoko) back then...and your cd player is having an acid flashback...just set it in a corner, it'll be alright, soon..that, or it'll need therapy...
