Question About Twin Freaks.

I've just heard Twin Freaks for the first time......and i find it interesting.
The stand out track for me is Coming Up...I think its absolutley fantasic.
I did notice that it's not the same bassline as in the original... which i thought was brave cause the original is such a classic bassline.

Anybody have an idea where this great new bassline came from?
Did it come from another Macca tune?
Did Macca come up with it just for this album?

It's brilliant aye... definitely some superb moments - but now I must ask you a similar question - Lalula - where does that come from?

CORRECTION: I've just found a website http://www.jpgr.co.uk/p3113001.html and they say Lalula is "new" but features guitars from Oh Woman Oh Why and Old Siam Sir. I knew the Old Siam Sir bit but everything else is ???????????? :oops:

Yeah...well I wonder...did Macca have any creative input himself into Lalula..or was it totally DJ Hellraiser with that rousing main hook?

does anybody know how I can download "Twin Freaks" ? I'd love to hear it since I heard it at Macca's concert but it's only avaliable on Vinyl and I don't have a record player

I sent my mp3 rip of my Twinfreaks vinyl to someone on here a few months ago but it was a tedious and long task sending everything track-by-track and would loathe to do it again. I could send you one or 2 tracks though - but all 12 of them, that could take 2 hours or more on my sloooow 128k connection

for those in the states: several different retail outlets are/have been carrying a LP/cd/tape player, esp. now at the holidays.
i've seen it in sears, Kmart, target, alco, dillons/kroger, etc.
it comes in a faux woodgrained cabinet made to look like a '30s radio. it usually sells for around $79-89.
check around, for something inexpensive to get back into vinyl.
