Postby Fan on the run » Wed Aug 25, 2004 1:07 pm

Well, first: Is Get Back released in DVD official? It´s very difficult to find.

And Let It Be is coming, but what else? I´d like to see more DVD´s about 1993 Tour and E-S-pecially 1989-1990 Tour.....like megagroup 180 000 people in Rio 1990.

I got my "Get Back" DVD through eBay - it wasn't too difficult, and it looks pretty official to me :)

If you don't have Back in the US DVD, buy it. After watching it you probably don't want to watch others so much. All them are good of course, but BITUS rocks. 8)

Now you have confused me, as Megs would say. What "Get Back" are you talking about? Is it the film about the 1989/1990 tour directed by Richard Lester? If so, how come I have it on DVD, but according to Amazon, it will be released in January? Did I fall victim to a practical joked played on me by some malicious Martians? Somebody help me, PLEASE

Let me try and clear this up a bit:

Amazon is confusing at times....here are their 2 listings:

#1
Paul Mccartney's Get Back World Tour

see larger picture
List Price: $14.98
Price: $13.48 & eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25. See details.
You Save: $1.50 (10%)

Availability: This item will be released on January 18, 2005. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives
Edition: DVD

#2
Paul McCartney - Get Back Live

see larger picture
List Price: $49.99
Price: $44.99 & This item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. See details.
You Save: $5.00 (10%)

Availability: Please note that titles occasionally go out of print or publishers run out of stock. We will notify you within 4 to 5 days if we have trouble obtaining this title.

15 used & new from $24.98

Edition: DVD

The first IS a new release in their world, as the other one was obviously discontinued. The 2nd one is the older of the 2. The price tells everything about it's availability.

Not sure if the "new" one has other stuff, but I doubt it.

That´s true :!: I will say always. I will never trade over this web-site. I buy my dvd´s in music shops or get the on the internet. I´m lucky to have a shop which sells rare bootlegs.
You must appreciate the day...
