Please don't call it 'anthology'. Sounds like someone is dead [:(]. I'm not saying I wouldn't love to have a collection of Paul's video's, but while he's alive I'd rather see him produce some new stuff!!![8D]

l.o.l 'say say say ' it should have a dvd of its own - we all want a compilation , but i doubt the part -time macca fans would be as interested and sadly , they dictate what gets released !

macca fans fall into 3 categories :-
1. the anoraks (like me) who know every song from 'bip bop' to 'broomstick' .

2. the beatles fans who also like a bit of wings , 'mull of kintyre' and so on.

3. the people who only know macca as a beatle and can only sing along to 'she loves you' , 'hey jude' , 'let it be' etc.

catories 2 and 3 determine what is released - hope im not offending anyone but thats just my opinion - i love everyone! even phil collins fans l.o.l

I agree but I wouldn't classify it that way:

cat 1 = just care about the Beatles, couldn't care less about solo
cat 2 = have a passing interest in solo stuff but not really fussed about it
cat 3 = hardcore fans like some of the ones on here (that Steve guy) that have everything and don't allow you to criticise any of his bad stuff and make you public enemy number 1

Gastro. You think ALOT of it is bad--I disagree. I'll defend what I think is decent or good or great, and I always point out the ones I don't care for and that are below his standards. There are many bad ones: (mary had a Little Lamb, MOST of Off the Ground, 1/2 of POP and Wild Life. Most of Macca II. Part of PTP. etc).

The way you act, kid, it's no wonder why how you came up with the title of your first thread on here.

yeah thats an even better classification but i must admit i find it hard criticise about 99% of macca's work- calm down guys i dont want no fighting on this website l.o.l

no casual fan likes paul's videos. the "Video" age came at a time when Paul was not popular among the young masses anymore, except perhaps "ebony and ivory" and purely as a curiosity thing. To have a DVD about paul's videos (as an international EMI release etc.) would be unprofitable. Too bad, because I would line up to buy it. (I'm actually glad I taped some of his old videos when I had the chance back in the 80's)

I also missed George Harrison's videos from "Cloud 9" which I would love to see as well.
