Ok after watching it again I would have to say I like it a little more. But I still wish they would have put the songs in order and had a way to skip the interviews. I still don't like the shots of all the celeb's. Like someone else said here. "I wonder if they even own any McCartney CD's?" He should have left them out. It kind of say's hey look at these celeb's they like me so it's ok for you to like me too.
Did they even pay?

I have to agree with you about the celebs,Wings.
I live in So. CA and I am never impressed with them. The limos at Staples and the Pond were incredible. I guess they don't like to drive themselves. It's a big phony scene to me. Phony baloney. I am so proud that Paul isn't like that.

I'd have recorded the FULL concert and played that on ABC, it stood up well enough on its own. I'd have given the documentary stuff as extras. Some of my friends (that i was trying to get to take me if paul comes again) said they don't think 'its worth it' because they think it will be exactly like the film. They don't belive me that its 20x better! They think I am just trying to get them to take me so I can drool over rusty!!! Still, I have seen it millions of times.A better memerance than not having it at all.

I'll have to agree somewhat with Wings. As a documentary BACK IN THE US is great, but I too would have preferred the complete uninterrupted concert. Glad I have the GET BACK dvd. At least we get complete songs on that. I suppose Paul felt that the coinciding BITUS cd would fill in the gap left by the missing pieces of the DVD. Next DVD needs to be complete uninterupted performances - then special features afterward.

I agree with Wings. All the celeb in the audience stuff is
just a bit too phoney for my liking. And yes, how much did they
pay to get in???
The best bit of the film for me, though, was the guy crying
when he sang ALL MY LOVING. You can see what it meant to him
and I guess we've all had the same emotions seeing him live
and singing songs that you've only heard coming from a cd player
before. That's what it's all about.
