It's just for fun, like the Fireman stuff or Paul's preshow. There are just fun bits here and there. Like The Son Of Man (Magritte) in Paul's preshow. That is cool and we know why it's there because Paul collects Magrittes' work. Also Ganga the Elephant Boy is a Hindu God and the eyes of Krishna. Ganga is the proveyer of a good party time or event. Reading the title of this topic made me laugh so I must vote now....
Revolution 9 is not a song .. but I like the part where John is making some really weird noises like hoooohooooohooooohoooo somewhere in the middle, it cracks me up all the time ....

As Ram would probably say; its just a lot of surrealism and nonsense.
But if its not a song what is it?
I cant vote either way because im not sure.
But when played backwards, its supposed to hold several clues to the Paul is Dead rumors, (car wreck, ambulance sirens , etc.)
Maybe that was the whole point of R9.
Of course Paul is alive and well, I just think the Beatles heard the rumors and decided to play along or something.

I think Rev 9 is not properly a SONG... maybe a sound collage?? Or could that be just a J&Y's madness?? NO, that's not JUST a madness of them, that was well ellaborated but maybe that doesn't make sense to many people...even me nowadays, I'm still looking for an answer to understand Rev 9... There are many theories and explanations about that track, but ever confused about...
