Shine, I assume you're referring to Abbey Road. Yes, but really more so with the White Album I think. The White album was more like little "individual solo projects". Like Paul would go into the studio with Ringo, or go in alone without the others, and so forth.

With some of the lush harmonies on Abbey (Because),and the famous thre way guitaer finale (The End), I think they were more together as a group than since SP or MMT. I think George Martin even said as much---"I'll produce if we do it like we used to"..and they really did. Beautiful album. A nice ending, really. I know LIB came out after, but it was recorded, of course, months earlier than AR.

Sooner or later we all will be there....

Shinestar - I think that was more evident on "White Album" as Paul and John themselves told that was Paul and the band, John and the band, George and the band, Ringo and the band, or even each one playing alone.

Analyzing that, "Abbey Road" even can be considered as their truely last(in fact, that really was)joined work as a group. Most of tracks were worked with reciprocal colaboration among them, as George Martin himself said. GM said that they joined themselves to work on AR, like they didn´t since Sgt.Pepper album.
