I don't really listen to "new" music (even though I'm 23), but I think Sam Roberts is very reminiscent of the beatles' sound. His voice sometimes reminds of John Lennon's. He also plays a rickenbacker, which will *Always* be associated with the beatles.

So... there is no similar bands and theres no gonna be...

Ok coldplay kicks aaaass, theyre sweet, but they arent really the beatles. As far as the beatles being light years ahead of everyone else, i dont get it, i mean they were awesome, but were they really this holy? Im wearing a freakin MAgical Mystery Tour shirt right now, one of my seven beatles T's, but dont even the beatles have an equal... or near-equal? maybe not..

NO ONE will remember Coldplay in 5 years. Their music starts to sound old even nowadays. They are so BASIC.

Yeah, The Coral is good.
And that´s the problem. Lots of bands are good, or really good. And what else? it is not ENOUGH, no way
To be just good doesnt mean a freaking thing actually.
Shakira is good too, if u know what i mean...but who on earth is gonna buy a damn Oasis album in 30 years? 30 i said? 5, sorry [:D]
