HELP ME!!

Postby sleepyhollowgirl » Wed Jun 11, 2003 2:24 pm

I went to a local record store, and they had all this beatles nastalgia stuff!! I am going to go either today or tomorrow to buy something, help me decide what.

"All My Loving" single record
"Day Tripper" single
An old Beatles magazine (from '64)
Let It Be on VHS
A really insanely FAKE Paul McCartney autograph
A Beatles 8 Track
A Yellow Submarine hat

WHAT SHOULD I BUY??? Pick your number one choice, and then give a second, cause i can only afford around two. They all cost about 15 dollars

I'd go for the LET IT BE video tape, if it's an official version. There aren't a lot of those around. It's about 90 minutes long, so it will give you the most value for the money. It'll hold you over until the DVD comes out.

No, I'd wait for the DVD. Much better quality, and probably cool extras n stuff. I'd go with the Beatles magazine. Those single records you can buy just about anywhere. What's an 8-track?

And the Yellow Submarine hat... don't know if you want to be caught having that on your head [8D].

A popular music format that came just after cassettes didnt really catch on the first time. Late 60 or early 70 to late 70's only. About 2/3 the sze and twice the thickness of a DVD CASE, and mostly used in autos. Divided into 4 seperate tracks (not sure why they called them 8 tracks), but they even cut songs off IN THE MIDDLE (at least they did on my copy of De Ja Vu. I have several, and a few early casettes sold before the 8 tracks came out.
