The Fab Four-Tribute Band

Postby sleepyhollowgirl » Wed May 14, 2003 4:05 pm

Has anyone seen them??? I saw them at Disneyland a couple of times, but never at one of their own concert (their tickets are so exspensive!!) Well, if you haven't seen them, and you get a chance to, take it, because they are GREAT. As close to the real beatles as I am ever going to get, lol. They have a christmas music CD out (they do holiday music in the style of beatles music) and it is REALLY cool, you should check that out next holiday season.

No..wish I had..never had a chance to see the real Beatles when I was growing up...but did see the tribute band "Rain". You know they were really good. The guy who was John actually did look and sound like him. It was fun seeing them and hearing all the music...[:)]

I have a Xmas CD titled BEATMAS by a group of guys called the Rubber Band that's decent. Their version of Rockin' Around The Xmas Tree sounds similar to I Saw Her Standing There, and Feliz Navidad is done cleverly in the style of No Reply.

There's a UK tribute band called "The Bootleg Beatles". They've been going about 20 years and are extremely good - I'm going to see them on 7 June.

Rain is a good tribute band. I would urge everyone to go see '1964 - The Tribute' if you have the chance. These guys are the best!
