I found this funny, and awesome. ESPN's mid-day radio host Colin Cowherd conducted a Rock-Band version of the NCAA basketball "March Madness", with 64 rock bands pitted against each other in a sort of "March Madness" contest. Just like the real NCAA tournament, "bands" were seeded in a bracket format, head to head, until 1 band was the final champion. The contest has gone on for the last 2 weeks, with bands being eliminated 1 by 1 as the bracket went forward. The final championship came down to Beatles vs. Led Zeppelin, with the Fab 4 winning the title! Pretty amazing because it wasn't just old bands in the contest...plenty of new ones like U2, Pearl Jam etc. were in there. Even 41 years after their breakup, the Fab 4 still won. All in good fun, and pretty awesome IMO.
