Chris great list. I never thought about it but your right. If the beatles stayed together until 1975 or even 1980 would the solo songs be beatle songs? I think so. If thats the direction they were each going in. Now Im off to make my lost Beatles album. Just think The Beatles doing "Hi Hi Hi" or "Imagine". Don't forget "Give Ireland Back To The Irish". To many songs your right it needs to be a Double CD.

I think that the tunes/melodies might have been similiar, but the lyrics would have been subjected to their random experiences which staying in the Beatles would have meant different experiences which would have resulted in different lyrics. More than likely.

Possibly. But the songs would be about 90% the same as they are now, I reckon.

How's about a hypothetical "bridging the gap" album, consisting of Paul's best stuff from Let It Be, McCartney and Ram? Bridges the gap between Beatles and Wings, with songs like:

The Back Seat Of My Car
Too Many People
Heart Of The Country
Dear Boy
Maybe I'm Amazed
Junk
Man We Was Lonely
Every Night
Two Of Us
Get Back
The Long & Winding Road
Let It Be
This stuff still cracks me up. C'mon back, Liamhoffer

Nice setlist, you can really make several excellent albums by combining all of their individual songs. Unfortunately, I don't have a cd recorder, I can't try it.

Had the Beatles stayed together, I think a late 1970/ early 1971 album might well have been something like this:

Side 1

01 Give Me Some Truth
02 Dear Boy
03 Isolation
04 Wah-Wah
05 Maybe I'm Amazed
06 Instant Karma!
07 Oh Woman Oh Why

Side 2

01 It Don't Come Easy
02 Isn't It A Pity
03 Hot As Sun
04 Oh My Love
05 Every Night
06 Jealous Guy
07 Smile Away

Somehow I don't imagine The Beatles would have released My Sweet Lord.

How about using non-album singles to create a new Beatles album, early to mid seventies? I'll have to cheat a little with George, since I don't think he had any non-album singles.

Instant Karma (We All Shine On)
Oh Woman, Oh Why
All Things Must Pass
Junior's Farm
Power to the People
Cold Turkey
It Don't Come Easy
Live and Let Die
Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)
Hi Hi Hi
Move Over Ms. L
Mull of Kintyre
Girl's School
God Save Oz
