i know i've seen him do that song on the letterman show before. but it sure is a treat to see him do it again. i think mr costello does more with what he has than nearly anyone else alive (which is a polite way of saying he gets the most out of his somewhat limited voice)

well, yes. i love elvis (...if yours is dead come and try mine...) but you have to admit that he doesn't have the vocal range of a paul mccartney, now does he? but what he gives in effort (obviously in my own pathetically humble opinion) he more than makes up for limited octaves. but thats...just me
