The Baby's here - 3 weeks earlier than expected...

Postby mi » Tue Oct 09, 2007 9:01 am

And I swear to god - that was the first time in my life I actually wished I was a male... , Oh yeah, I'm laughing now but the truth is it was quite a nightmare but relatively short, so, I guess I can say, compared to other women I know I was pretty lucky...allow me to spare you the details. The little one is gorgeus - tiny, born just a little bit pre-mature, haven't decided yet who he looks like, but, of course, a Beatles fan already - I bought "Beatles Tunes for Infants" weeks ago, you see - took no chances with that. And I am...well, getting slowly back on my feet. My husband keeps hinting gently that I need a shower, and I just happen to agree, so...(I swear, if I never see another hospital again it won't be too soon...).

Oh, sorry - it's a boy, of course.... time and time again I think, how simpler it would have been if we spoke Hebrew...I'm just not used to mention these things, because in my language they are usually obvious. Anyway, it was october 7, 1.05 AM. Two days ago and seems like forever...

Not sure, I'm gonna have to check on the CD's - there are two, so at least one of them must be there...

Oh, we're going for Oded after all - it means "cheer up" or "cheered up" or something of that sort. My family wasn't really keen at first but no one came with a really better suggestion. They were arguing so much that finally I just said - "Hey, one more word and I'm naming him Paul and having done with it", and that kind of hushed everyone...
