That Would Be Sthg

Postby Grillo » Tue Oct 29, 2002 9:40 pm

The electric guitar appears in this very country/western song to me. The fundamental feature of this song are surely the drums, in practice Paul plays only the sound box and the charleston (unlike the version appeared on "Unplugged" in which Blair Cunningam normally plays the drums) a brand-new thing. It's incredible how he used the drums, not to give time to the song but to supply it, it's just an ingredient like another, like a guitar riff. Brilliant idea!
Do you agree with this???

mmmmmm maybe im amazed.....

I love what you say; I will listen to the song w/ new ears. It's one of my favourites, but I'm so mesmerized by the lyrical content (again, that simplicity), I'm afraid I've neglected the electric guitar as you say and oh! I LOVE THIS SONG!

I'm not overly thrilled by the song, but with some better lyrics, maybe it might have been great. Not horrendous, just a bit shallow.
