Is Paul a rocker??

I think because he's best known for his ballads. Ask anyone for a song by Paul, and they'll come up with Let It Be, Yesterday, Hey Jude (they don't listen long enough to hear how Paul goes insane at the end), Mull Of Kintyre. And somehow, whenever he rocks, people still remember him as the guy who did Yesterday, so they think it doesn't rock.

OK, WTYD is probably more like funk. But you know what I mean - the number of different styles of song tackled on the TOW album alone is phenomenal - very few others could manage it . . .
