My bad. You are most correct maccafan. I had totally forgotten about that. I will say the same thing. The drumming on that track is good for that style--no wonder--it's Pual and not Blair! I'll stick to my assessment of BC, however.

Actually, with the whole Band On The Run album, I suppose I sort of realised Paul had to be doing the drumming for it all, but I never really thought about it. Funny, that . . .

He does a great job on that album. I only wish it had been recorded more professionally---I have always thought that I could never get it loud enough. Ram has said the same thing. But--I still think its a great album due to many factors, some of that being maccas drumming. My second fave MAACA album overall.

Just behind the superior Driving Rain, of course [:D][8D]

When in The Beatles, Paul did an AMAZING drumming on "Back In The USSR", his beat ruled the rythm and rocked on!! Very very well played!! That song didn't missed Ringo's drumming...

I've read in several articles in the past that when The Who's drummer Keith Moon heard this album he was pretty impressed with Macca's drumming. Quite a compliment coming from Keith moon (one of my favourite Rock 'n' Roll drummers).
