Driving Rain, Paul's "best ever"? I still don't know. At first, I thought the album was weak, and as Ram said it does really grow on you. And yes, I still discover something new on it after each listen. Though I think Rinse the Raindrops is a longwinded jam that runs out of steam after about 4 minutes, and goes into the "Check My Machine" mode. My favorite is About You and From A Lover, the melody structure is unlike anything he's ever done. I just wish that he'd play more of these great songs in concert, and for God's sakes, MIX UP THE SET LIST A BIT !! The album cover is probably his best too (The original one, not the new jumping thing!) Ram On!
