Paul supports Mcenroe

McCartney has released a press statement supporting Tennis ace John Mcenroe. McCartney said "I can't think of a better father than John Mcenroe. In many respects, he remind me of meself - I also did an occasional toke of pot and it in no way hindered my abilities as a father. John is a good man".

Paul is like a doting Uncle to those kids. Many is the time Paul has come over and played Tennis with John in Long Island and helped look after the kids. He is devasted by the bad press for the children.

A McCartney spokesman stated later...

"Paul fully supports John and thinks Tatum is disullusioned with Drugs and booze". Paul truly cares about the Mcenroe children and wants to lend support to John in his darkest hour. He wishes Tatum would just "let it be" and "get back to where she once belonged".

Excuse me, but Paul and Linda did more than an "occasional toke of pot". Remember Japan? Remember when she had to write an essay (how stupid that was) when they got pulled over with the kids in the car and Linda had pot in her purse? I don't think Paul's the best one to talk about doing drugs while raising kids. Tatum has said her husband did them with her.

Also, Chris is believed to be the nephew of "the one and only Billy Shears"---I think his family americanized his name, and since they were in the barber trade, they also thought it would seem too "cute" to keep the old moniker.
