Burning Question (Oh ho ho I kill myself)

Postby ElectricKeithery » Sun Jun 23, 2002 9:10 pm

What are some good songlists everyone has of Paul CDs/tapes they have made? Here is my best one, I think, made not very long ago:

Oh, and forgive the two things on the beginning. I had 45 seconds left on it and I needed to put something in.

1)Billy Madison-'What you just said...'
2)Jay and Silent Bob-'...I'm a smoooooth pimp...'
3)The Song We Were Singing
4)Here Today
5)Dear Friend
6)My Love
7)Wanderlust (ToW)
8)Junk
9)Loving Flame
10)Little Lamb Dragonfly
11)Waterfalls
12)Once Upon a Long Ago
13)Tug of War
14)Treat Her Gently (Lonely Old People)
15)No More Lonely Nights
16)Winter Rose/Love Awake
17)Venus and Mars (Reprise)
18)Mull of Kintyre
19)Warm and Beautiful
20)One of These Days

The list was considerably longer, but some reasons stopped them from being added:
Venus and Mars (Couldn't find it single without Rock Show)
London Town (Time constraints)
Calico Skies (Couldn't find it on WinMX, didn't have time to get it off FP)
Same Time Next Year (Found it by fluke the first time...)
Little Willow (Couldn't find)
From a Lover to a Friend (Time)
Somedays (Time)
Singalong Junk (Time)
Maybe I'm Amazed (Time)
Beautiful Night (Wrong format thingy)

As I've mentioned before, I copy songs onto my laptop, and make playlists out of them (songs currently number 1127). I do have one of Paul's stuff that I call "Bridging The Gap" - it's basically all his best tunes off Let It Be, Mac1 and Ram. I can't remember the tracklisting offhand, but I'll find it for you - it is a quality album!

The difference between genius and insanity is merely the difference between success and failure.

Has anyone tried making up a 1971 Beatles album based on their solo material? Just to get things rolling....

All Things Must Pass
Every Night
Jealous Guy
Monkberry Moon Delight
etc...you get the idea, any thoughts?

If you want it, Come and get it!
