I suppose that this bluesy song is a kind of tribute but maybe could be a bash too, as we can see the lyrics:

Well, I think so but maybe is a crazy supposition.

I think you all have interesting opinions about this subject. But personally, I think you might be reading a little too far into this one. I mean, it might not be about JL in the slightest. The tune is definitely very Lennonesque, no question. But I think the lyrics could go either way. Some lyrics are blatant, and some are not. Paul himself has said many a time that many of his lyrics don't mean anything at all. They just sound nice or tell a *fictional* story or whatever. That's why I usually don't try to analyze his lyrics too much.

Good point Ram---I only meant to put across the following: It sounds like a Lennon style vocal, and subconsiously or not, I think it's a tip 'o the derby. But---the lyrics have nothing to do with JL, IMHO. It's a simple love song.

Yeah! he he, as I said before is crazy suppositions!!
That's a stuff called "subliminar meanings"...Some people are always digging crazy meanings under the simple lyrics and distorcing'em.

I guess so, fellow... Let me try... Subliminar meanings(could be messages), is a kind of undercovered stuffs of the songs, as I said about the "Paul is dead" stuffs that have some clues 'bout his "death", don't you remmember this? Some freaky people ever have been digging crazy things under the songs... Isn't crazy, man?? I think is a waste of time.
Am I still misunderstanding?
