Being Paul

Postby MarthaMyDeer » Sat Apr 12, 2014 10:07 am

Just seen they are making a biopic of Cilla Black. Im sure Paul played a big part in her career.

Here is the actor playing Paul in the new show. Not sure if he actually looks that much like him..http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3262824/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

But got me thinking which actors have played Paul in films/tv and who would you say has done the best job at him?

I thought Aidan Quinn done a good job in Two Of Us. The VH1 show http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0228979/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Although his accent sounded a bit too irish at times

There's a rumour going round that William Campbell is dead...
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Sucking monkberry moon delight.

Gary Bakewell also played kitchen help on the Brit sitcom CHEF. He played someone from Scotland. Very good.

Mr. H, William Campbell also played a Klingon in the famous ST episode "The Trouble With Tribbles". I bow to your Star Trek knowledge, however... ^:)^
