He's had a virus, it's been treated, he's recovering.

I usually find that I'm underwhelmed by McCartney's live performances. I find that there might be a few songs that he does really well for a given performance. "Another Day" has been mentioned.

Paul was hospitalized for a viral infection. They can be nasty and anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. He needed to stay in bed and take it easy. Viral infections are nothing to sneeze at. He is out of danger. He may be going home to the U.K. There is talk he may cancel the first few U.S. dates but right now that is a rumor and nothing that I could find confirms it. Nancy has been with him. He will probably go home and rest and play with his grandkids and then go out again.

I hope he takes precautions this time around because at his age, even though in good health, things happen. Viruses have to take their course while bacterial infections can be treated with medicines. I hope he heeds the advice of medical professionals and he take his time even if cancelling a few shows in the U.S. would be better, in my opinion, than to push himself so soon after being hospitalized.

He can sing. Just bring it down a notch. He can perform. Just for the time being, take it easy. He can get back to touring after a prolonged rest. I am not a medical professional but I have had nasty viruses that have literally knocked me on my bum so much so that I had to crawl to the bathroom to get sick. He needs to take it easy. He cancels a few days, so what? He will reschedule. Give him some healing time, guys.

The other day I guess I got the first inkling of how I might feel when, you know...

And it wasn't pleasant. I really really hope he keeps kicking around for a long time to come. Glad of all the positive news and statements the past couple of days.

flex,

No problem. If I find out anything else I will let all know but some of you might find out these things before me, so I will report whatever I find.
