Paul's New Grammy Nominations

Postby nicholeantoinette » Tue Jan 07, 2003 5:20 pm

(...including B.B. King's Blackbird which I've never heard but *assume* is Paul & John's...)

Hi, guys, how can Vanilla Sky be nominated again this year? It is in the category of Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television, or Other Visual Media. All sounds very good to me as I loved the song last year & I love it still.

Happy New Year Friends! [:X]

The Grammy period of time (as i understand it), is: Nov 1 2001 thru Nov 1, 2002. I might be a month off or so, but I think that's close.

Hi Nich,
It's always good to see Paul nominated for anything.
He is so underappreciated, though, and it makes me sad.
Why wasn't the new CD nominated? Was it too late?
I shall be watching as I am a big Bruce fan.

Would that be Bruce Hornsby or Issac Bruce? I know of no other talented Bruces. [:D] Just Kidding Auj.

I never watch the Grammys. Or any of the music awards shows as all of the Beatles are virtually ignored. Which is so garbage. After all, as Paul said: "Is it conceited to say we were better than all the other groups? Maybe it is. But listen to songs like Eleanor Rigby or Penny lane. We were better."
I loved that. Yeah, Paul!

Doesn't the Grammy thing have categories for Most Successful Tour?
Or Best Live Concert Tour? Most Popular Live Act?
I guess not.....
