Yeah, I was in bed watching TV a few days ago and this Chase credit card commercial comes on and there is this song and I said, that's a Macca song but I could not remember the name of it fo the life of me. Can Chase do that? Don't they have to pay some type of royalty or something?

Seems he has turned around his thinking. If memory serves me correct (and it doesn't always!) many moons ago when he was in a group called The Beatles, didn't they say they would never do anything like that?

I guess nowadays, money is money and if one of his songs can be used to that end, why not?

As to Great Day sounding like Put a Littl Love in Your Heart is ABSURD. Doesn't sound anything like each other.

I recall Macca saying some time ago that since his music (and the music of his peers) receives little to no air play on the radio (exept for the typical "greatest hits"), t.v. commercials actually get the music out there and heard by the masses, so it's a viable alternative.
