Macca Concert in Paris Reconstructed From Fan Footage

Postby noahrsg » Thu Jan 12, 2012 9:02 pm

A new music startup called "Switchcam" is algorithmically recreating concerts by stitching together fan footage. The video is all synced up to the exact second so that you can switch camera angles and still be in the same moment in the concert.

Check out what we did with Paul: http://switchcam.com/event/paul-mccartney-palais-omnisports-de-paris-bercy-2011/?c=b_macca

PS I most definitely work for Switchcam, and most definitely love Macca, and of course the Beatles. We would like to get some honest feedback from music lovers about what we are trying to create.

Thanks everyone! :-BD

Hey just wanted to let everyone know that you now have the option to skip the FB login request. We got a ton of complaints about it, and wanted to make sure that everyone is able to watch their favorite artists whether they have FB or not. Cheers!
