Postby Ram1 » Mon Dec 23, 2002 12:10 pm

WOW, that a FANTASTIC year for Macca. Unbelievable. Defintely the most exciting year for Paul McCartney fans since I've been alive. Phenomenal tour behind a phenomenal album, a DVD, live album, tv concert special. Man, it just doesn't get much better than this. 2002, The Year of Macca! YES!! Thank you, Paul!!!! [:D]

It was a great year for a Macca fan.
It was a super year for Paul and Heather.
Also add a new grandson for Paul as well.
I was just unbelievable for me and I still can't get over that I finally saw Paul, not once, but three times last year.

He deserves to have a good year. Probably his best year in quite a while. Poor dude has had it rough - Funny, i just saw him at a video from 1993 and i was shocked at how much the man has aged in ten years. No doubt - the man is a survivor and we have to give him much respect.

He did mis-step this year with the Australian tour incident but i think he recovered nicely at the end with the video and dvd. Cheers to him!

Careful - I think you may be going a little overboard here. You could say the same about 1989-90 - which had a brilliant studio album (FITD), a huge world tour, two live albums, and I think there was some video or other?

I don't think I need to be careful about anything. My opinion, lad. And I think most people would agree. Like Steve said, no comparison between 89-90 and 2002. This past year has been the Year of Macca, WAD. It's gonna take A LOT for him to top this.
