Lovely Rita and Maxwell Silver Hammer next time??

Postby EddieV » Sat Aug 13, 2011 8:45 am

Well I´d never thought that he would do Ob la Di Ob la Da live. So I assume that we would hear Lovely Rita and Maxwell on the next tour??
Now junior behave yourself

i think Lovely Rita would be cool
have thought as a tribute to John he could do a couple of his?
early ones..I'll cry instead..Run For Your Life ect
It is a Paul show but to give the voice a break half way through he could let Rusty or Brian belt out a few of Johns??
just a thought

just thinking about maxwell silver hammer as well
i've always loved this song and belt it out on the guitar'..[closet guitarist with major stage fright issues i might add]
not quite sure how it would fit tho in a stadium type atmospere
i don't know why really as any song he would do should be fine
i think it would be better suited to smaller venues perhaps?
but i could be wrong of course..probably am!
i wouldn't mind hearing them play "call me back again"..
which i believe he hasn't played since the wings over america tour

Lovely Rita would be great but I'd rather have Sgt. Pepper's lonely hearts club band back in the setlist, the way he played it on his early 90's tours. You know, mixed with those incredible solos and then the reprise.
We can make it to Mexico City...AGAIN!!!!!
