i was surprised to see this one live. i had been very careful not to know what his set list was. even...if it meant not checking in here so often and having to fight the urge to see what he played. not expecting it at all...let em in just worked fabulously live. he changed the way he sang it a bit. and i'm glad he did. it was so good, in fact, if i ever get another chance to see him perform live again, i'm hoping this is on the list.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.
Paul REALLY needs that 4 man brass section - it would also really aid Got To Get You Into My Life (which sounds canned on keyboard) and several other songs (Lady Madonna). Not really sure why he doesn't - at least for 1 tour - bring some of these guys on board.

know what, jg? ordinarily i'd agree with you. i have been begging for a horn section forever. but in this case it worked. it wasn't only wix's keyboard masquerading as a horn section...but vocals and guitar as well...all in unison more than doing what needed to be done.
but a brass section sure wouldn't have been too shabby.

I would have loved to watch Paul perform Let em in live. I think it s a very underrated song that for me belong to his better. The irresistible, simple melody, somewhat mysterious lyrics and genreal feel. I always find one of the few reliefs on Wings at the speed of sound and actually a track that would have fit nicely on a Beatlesalbum Of course Pauls concert would benefit from a horn and even a stringsection.
