Does anyone remember the story of the cassettete tape that was stolen when Paul and Linda were mugged in Lagos? Maybe this is the best there is as far as BOTR extras are concerned. I think the inclusion of One Hand Clapping is pretty generous. Once you see it you'll know.

no one has forgotten a thing: it may well pan out that these new remasters are far better than the last...doesn't mean i'll spend another bit o' cash on something i've already bought (and still have) 2 or 3 times...

on hand clapping should be released, at a reasonable price, by itself or in conjuntion with stuff that is not out there

we shouldn't have to wait for mccartney to die before the archival stuff is released...

we all know about lagos, but there's oodles and gobs of stuff from that period that has never been released, why release the exact same thing

i am looking forward to any other albums, as long as they actually have stuff of consequence.

i need a repeat of the last remaster like i need another live album with all the same songs...there are too many artists releasing too many records for me to skip something new and interesting for just another repeat.

I'm only interested in rare live Wings performances.

I know they performed songs like...

Big Barn Bed
Smile Away
Juniors Farm
Best Friend
Wildlife
etc.

That's the material I'm interested in, official releases of early Wings live!

An official remastered DVD of Rockshow would be great also.

EXACTLY !

i just posted a bit where i said i wasn't protesting...whatever...

BUT, if there was something i'd raise a stink over, it'd be a complete, official rendering of all the pre-wings/proto-wings/wings stuff...especially the live stuff !!

...not that i've ever mentioned that before... :-BD

I wonder if they mean downloadable hi-res versions of all the tracks from the DVD or an online source?
And what exactly do they mean by hi-res?

Hi-res is high resolution audio tracks. Better sound quality than normal cds.

for example, Blu-ray audio is hi-res. DTS and all that..

As long as I can get the DVD for $25 or so w/the remaster - I'm happy.

This is OK- but REALLY can't wait for Ram, BTTE and McCartney II-

Ram because it will sound great remastered AND because of the great bonus tracks.

BTTE ditto.

MII for the bonus tracks - and I suspect given a decent mastering, it could improve its reputation slightly.
