Postby pugjazz » Fri Nov 22, 2002 11:42 am

how about some new xmas music from Paul... would'nt he make a great a great xmas record? I'd love to have it in my holiday collection. He could do a mix of classics and new material.

Hi Pugjazz...I think I like your idea. I would definitely buy a CD of all standard Christmas songs by Mac. That would be great![:0]

I think I would MAJORLY pass on that. I've always thought big stars making Christmas albums was weak. And I think if Paul were to do a Christmas album, that would be pretty lame. Although Wonderful Christmastime is still perhaps one of my favorite Christmas songs ever. But of course he majorly dropped the ball on Rudolph the red-Nose Reggae. [xx(]

Maybe an album of Xmas and Hindu chants would be good.
I liked Riding to Jaipur. Love the sounds, not so much the actual song. I loved Paul used the Hindu/ Vedic symbols in the preshow.

I like Christmas singles by rock artists, but entire albums can be a bit too much. (Most are pretty sappy) Most of them are very commerical, too. I like some of the Jazz ones, but that's about it. (Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr., etc.) NOT Kenny G. [;)] (Although my mom plays the heck out of Kenny G. every Christmas) [|)]
