If this is his last big tour, i REALLY hope he does what the who have done in recent years, and make soundboard recordings of every show and make each of them available for online ordering.
(with no audio editing whatsoever, apart from a fade out at the end of the first disc and a fade in at the start of the second)

I think the who's CDs were limited to 150 copies of each show, and they didn't start manufacturing the discs till all the orders for a specific show were filled.

Think of how fantastic that would be!

Loved-up Macca invites girlfriend Nancy to join him on world tour

When Sir Paul McCartney hits the road on his world tour later this year, there'll be one very special guest joining him for the ride. The former Beatle has apparently invited his millionairess love Nancy Shevell to join him after the fun they had on their Route 66 road trip through the US earlier this month.

The 66-year-old singer originally planned a boys only tour to celebrate his single status, reports the Daily Express. Since cementing his ten-month-old romance with New York-based Nancy, though, it's all change.

"Paul is excited about going on tour," reveals a pal. "Initially, he wanted to go it alone with just his band and road crew but now he wants Nancy to be with him all the way.

"He says he had the time of his life on the road trip I think it really sealed things for him."

I've read many articles which state he's touring this Autumn, yet in a recent interview with the man himself, he states he may possibly tour next year.

Paul McCartney And Eric Clapton Coming To Tenerife?

Former Beatle Paul McCartney could be headed for Tenerife (off the west coast of Africa) to perform in early December.

Sun Live Festival Canaries, the company which brought Elton John to Tenerife in January, are behind the bid to bring one of the biggest names in popular music to the island.

The company say there are still a few contractual issues to be ironed out but say they are confident the concert will go ahead on December 6.

Like the Elton John concert back in January, which attracted some 20,000 fans, McCartney will perform at the Costa Adeje golf course

The concert will be one of just three in a mini-tour during which, the legendary singer-songwriter will announce his retirement from touring.

Buoyed by the relative success of the Elton John concert, the company have also announced plans to bring Eric Clapton to the island in April of next year, boosting the island's music credentials still further.
