He did a super job----Running off stage to get his acoustic guitar for the "Rain exploded" part of BOTR. Great singing voice and he handled the bass better than anyone macca has ever had with him...

I wasn't too thrilled when I heard he was back. Imho he and his synths [:(] were the weak part of the band in 89-93. Listen to the "flute" solo in Fool On The Hill from TTLF. Terrible! And it comes back 3 times exactly the same!

Anyroad, I hear it's not that bad now. Synths can be OK, but he was overdoing it quite a bit in 89-93.

Yes, Brains. He has toned it down considerably on this tour. No question.

I agree with you, Brains. Wix's synths in the past have been a little overboard at times. I'm mainly just glad to have Wix back because he's "one of the blokes", and he's been on every tour since 89.
