My script to the new tour - opening number

This is what i'd like to see...

Paul appears behind the Hofner base holding John Lennon's yellow rickenbacker guitar - He is wearing a NY City tee-shirt and has his granny sun-glasses on. The overhead projector screen has in black letters "Lennon"..

Paul: This song is about pain...

McCartney rips the opening riff off the 1969 chestnut Cold Turkey as Abe slams his drums with much force...

Paul: Tempatures rising....Fever is high...

McCartney finsishes the song and looks out the crowd and rants like Axl Rose

Paul: That song was done by bleepin' U2...and i just took it back.

A Hippie looking like Lennon circa 1969 gives McCartney a high-five from the 1st row.

Paul: He was me friend...You know...It's was just me and him..
Crowd warmly applause...

Paul: This is for an evil man hiding in a cave and doing bad things..

Paul stands up and walks over to his swirly, psychedlic piano..

Paul: Instant Karma's gonna get you....

It's just Abe and Paul. On Piano and drums. Abe looks at Paul and feeds off his energy. Paul screams like he was doing Hey Jude again back on the David Frost show..

Paul: We all shine on!

McCartney walks over to the drums and tugs at Abe's rather large shirt. Abe bows down and hands over his drum sticks. Abe stands to the side.

McCartney: (holding the sticks)...This song's about the Indians..

Opening sounds of an African jungle is heard...

McCartney: (bashing the drums)...Ahhh.....

Kreen Akore is heard as a hush falls over the crowd...
A few younger fans stand with their mouth agape. A fan cries out for "I saw her standing there"...

Macca mouths the words "Not tonight" as he unleashes a tremendous drum solo that has Abe leaping like he did as a small child whenever Joe Montana scored a touchdown.

The crowd mulls quitely. Heather McCartney runs to the stage and whipsers to Paul

Heather: What are you doing?

Paul: I'm doing magic (Paul grabs his rickenbecker bass from the Roadies hand like a thirsty child grabs kool-aid)...

Paul: (counting)....(the band mulls in confusion)...Ho..Hey..Hoo..Hoo...Hey...hoo..

Paul plays the opening bars to Mrs. Vanderbilt...

Paul: Leave...Me along Mrs. McCartney.....I got plenty of time on my own....
Paul plays an incredible bass solo as Wix spits out the keyboard sax solo on Mrs. Vanderbilt....

The crowd stirs...

A man yells "Hey Jude"...

Paul yells back...."Not tonight"..

Paul walks toward the Piano and plays a jazzie riff...HEather McCartney tries to get onto the stage to stop the madness. A roadies quitely pushes her back.

Paul: This is for me dad.... and George Orwell

Paul plays the opening chords to 1985...

Paul: No one ever left alive...1985...

The crowd is confused. Save for about 4,000 die-hard McCartney fans who cheer loudly!

Paul stomps over to the Piano. Wix's tries to talk to him. Paul points his finger to the band and points to the exit.

Paul: You guys off...

Abe walks off. Wix and Rusty as well.

Paul: (grabbing the mike)..This is about me. Tonight.

3500 die hard McCartney fans cheer.

HEather whispers over to Paul

HEather: (softly)..Play loving flame...

Paul: (angry)...Oh Darling.....Please believe me...

Crowd cheers. Paul finishes and piece and bursts right into "Why Don't we do it in the road and Monkberry Moon Delight"...A huge fan from the 70's waves a banner....."Macca is god"

the script goes as follows.
PAUL ENTERS FROM THE WINGS AND SEEMS TO BE DRESSED LIKE THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN. HE PROCEEDS TO DO THE SONG " FIRE ".
