Actually, you know, forums and chat rooms have what they call "chat parties" or whatever all the time. Especially if they live in the same area. Every once in a while they meet together and have a little party at a restaurant or something. And a girl I know who is the moderator of a relationships forum, just recently went to Chicago for a "forum weekend." Members came from all across the country and spent the weekend with each other.

Life's too short to spend it lonely, you only throw it away...

That would be very difficult for me - unless you all want to chip together and get me plane tickets from England to the US, and somebody put me up for however long, and all that . . .

Too bad we all don't live in the same area. It would be neat to do sometime though.

It would be fun - it would help if we were all in the same area, Scrod, you're quite right - hell, all in the same country would help! You Yanks keep forgetting that there are some of us who are from a different continent, even!
