Just got back from the concert. Quite a great time. McCartney's still got it. Unfortunately the weather did it's best to try and spoil things; we received a considerable downpour during the acoustic set but the show went on. Nobody seemed to be bothered by this though. Set list was the same as it was in previous shows (he did not perform "Michelle" as he did for the over-rated First Lady in D.C.). Highlights for me were "I've Got A Feeling", "I'm Down", "Paperback Writer", and "Day Tripper". And it was cool as hell to hear him sing/scream "Helter Skelter" again. The Fireman tunes sounded ok; the band has polished them but these just work better in the studio. His voice was in pretty good shape; a little croakiness here and there but certainly nothing that detracted from the performances.
Bought a couple of shirts; none were as cool as the Citi Field Macca shirt. The Atlanta exclusive shirt is black with a recycle logo on the front and McCartney's name in a hippy-style font. They sold hats for $40 dollars; WAAAAAAYYY too expensive but truth be told they were nice hats.
I was long-looking forward to this show and it didn't disappoint. Very glad I got the chance to see him again.
