I was there last night, and as always Macca delivered. It was a great time. I have to say though, my best moments were the non Beatle songs. I love Mrs Vanderbilt, Highway, Live and Let Die, and I have to say, people really seemed to like Sing The Changes. Another great moment was when Paul was reading a sign that said, "Marry Me Paul" and he said Nooo. lol People laughed, and I took the whole night in. I listened to what other people had to say, and I heard nothing but praise. The only downfall was I had floor seats, and two 6'2 guys standing right in front of me. Thats not a problem for me, but I have a 5'1 tall wife. After the concert she said, next time, we're getting front row tickets. My reply was, two tickets in the front row sold on Ebay for $11,500. Thats a car! Great night never the less, and beautiful weather. The man came, he saw, and he conquered.

Wow! Where do I start. I've seen Macca 12 other times, including Standing Stone in 1997 (Royal AH); and did the Magical Mystery Tour to London & Liverpool in 1993. But I honestly can say, I have NEVER heard Paul sound better in concert. I sat in Section 520 and the sound was crystal clear. The backup vocals were amazing (Abe can really sing). The Highlights are many; here are a few....

Something - He played the first half of this song on Uke, and the rest of the band joined him for "Abbey Road" version. Fantastic.

Here Today - The one song where Paul's voice noticably cracked; not from lack of vocal range, but only from the emotion he must have felt singing the tribute to John,

Live & Let Die - expected the pyro - did not expect the fireworks display. Pretty awesome.

Let me Roll it - The man can play guitar!!! It's amazing watching him switch from Bass to Electric to Acoustic to Piano to Ukelele to Mandolin etc...

Dance tonight - surprisingly came across very well live. The crowd really clapped along and jammed to this song.

Day Tripper - Great Great version. Did not expect him to play this one.

Got to get you into my life - very happy he brought this song back. His voice was ripping.,

Citi Field - This place must have been BUILT for the live show because the sound was great, and you can hear everything even from the upper level; a far cry from the first time he played at Shea, I would think.

Wonder if there were any differences between 1st & 2nd night set lists?

Looking forward to my first-ever McCartney concert tonight in a rainy NYC; my oldest and youngest sons are big fans of the Beatles, and how better to capitalize on their interest?

I have a dumb logistical question. Son #1 is hoping to take his small point-and-shoot camera to capture a sense of the night and the ant-sized performers on stage. Judging by all the photos and videos of the first 2 shows that have sprouted on the web, I'm assuming that Citi Field security is not very rigorous about enforcing a no-camera ban.

I'd be grateful if anyone who has attended one of the first 2 shows could let me know if he might encounter any problems.

7-17 and 7-18 were exactly the same setlists. But luckily for me, Billy Joel wasn't there on 7-18.

Mick Jagger was in the audience on Saturday, though.
