U.S. Tour Dates 2009

I have seen a lot of articles saying that Paul McCartney's last concert this summer will be on August 19th at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. I am not sure if I read the articles wrong or just misunderstood the wording, but when it says "winding up in Dallas" I take it as concluding his tour there. Does anyone know if this is true? I would really like to see some more concert dates added...does anyone know if there will be?

No one knows at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a couple shows somewhere in the midwest or on the west coast. But at this point, yes, his last scheduled show is in Dallas.

I really hope so...I live in the Mid-West and he usually comes to Columbus, Cincinnati or Cleveland when he does one of his tours. I am really hoping he will make his way to the Mid-West sometime this year!

yeah i saw him in columbus in 05 and it was maybe the best i have seen him of the 12 times going back to 76 and i think we can count on chicago.

Last time he announced additional concert dates on his official website last week, Paul McCartney said there would be more dates to come. With the official announcements of two more concerts today, his official website now says these are the final two US concerts.

The two concerts that were announced today were Tulsa on Monday, August 17, and in Dallas on Wednesday, August 19.

So, now, the full, final US tour schedule is:

July 17 - New York, Citi Field
July 18 - New York, Citi Field
July 21 - New York, Citi Field
August 1 - Washington, FedExField
August 5 - Boston, Fenway Park
August 6 - Boston, Fenway Park
August 15 - Atlanta, Piedmont Park
August 17 - Tulsa, BOK Center
August 19 - Dallas, Cowboys Stadium

Tickets for both concerts announced today will go on sale Monday, July 20 at 10:00AM.

not quite sure what you mean but thanks man and i really did hear chicago was a lock but who knows? i would like to see a topic about how many times us macca fans have seen paul. i have witnessed his greatness 12 times but am sure many have seen him more. i just am not familiar enough to know how to start a topic

I really hope there is some Mid-West concert dates soon. Even if we have to wait until this fall.
