I wrote this poem for John Lennon on his last birthday I felt really inspired to and this came out so


John,

your formed much more than a band

who said they want to hold your hand

you formed a legend strong and true

many don't know where they'd be withought you

though you are not with us here

many keep you close and near

for you are loved and remembered dear

for giving us the gift of your thoughts and heart

and though we may be far apart,

in different worlds it does seem

we both still hold the same beautiful dream

that one day everyone can just be free

to be who they want to be no chains of conflict

to hold us down, but a world of peace and unity

of hope and love and purity no matter what race or religion

no lines of useless division.

That was your dream and as is mine

and as long as the earth spins, I breathe and sun shine

You will be remembered
