Can you download songs with dial-up?

Postby DeRick » Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:51 pm

I downloaded a Styx song "Castle Walls", but with dial-up its alot slower and you could be disconnected which really pisses me off  Im currently in the middle of downloading Pink Floyd's "Fat Old Sun" but in the middle of that i got disconnected. I reconnected & tried again, but the file continued downloading where it left off, do yall think it'll affect the playback?
And i also noticed that i cant put downloaded music on my MP3, cause its not the right file type. Can i change the file type?

Don't worry, that won't affect the playback, it happens all the time to me when my Wi-Fi cuts in and out.

Now, it depends on what program you used to download. In most cases, you won't be able to transfer the files directly unless it's from the same program your MP3 player is updated from or it's a DRM-free version. Worst case scenario, burn all the purchased files to a CD. Then reload them on in the format you wish. Unfortunately, that leaves it a bit lossy. Hope this helps.
