WAD, definitely one of Rock's evergreens IMO ak. After the McCoys, Rick wrote this while he was in Johnny Winter's band who did the first version in '70, which I'm kinda partial to---he obviously dug hangin' with those Winter brothers.

I got Rick's version on 45. Two or 3 years ago Rick did a jazz version o' Hootchie Koo that was pretty slick, I got the CD single promo off ebaY. It's just a great song anyway you slice it. 8)

If my memory serves me correctly, Ronnie Montrose was there, too. They most certainly were having a good time!
