The only thing about Lyle that is frustrating is that it takes him forever to write new material. He's only released one album of original material in 10 years. His albums Pontiac, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, and Joshua Judges Ruth are incredible. I also like I Love Everybody. All of those albums came out within about 5 or 6 years of each other. I don't know what happened after that.
