Buck Owens dead at 76

Buck Owens passed away this morning. :cry:

I was familiar with him through Hee Haw, but I really didn't get into his music until Dwight Yoakum did "Streets of Bakersfield." He will be missed.

mtm, CMT channel did a bio-documentary on him a couple years back. Buck mentioned what a huge fan he was of The Beatles (had all their albums, which some of his peers disapproved of!!) and how honored he felt that they cut Act Naturally.

He and Ringo re-cut Act Naturally together about 15 years or so ago. My dad was a big Buck Owens/Hee-Haw fan, so I heard him plenty growing up.
