This years programme at the Roskilde Festival (29th June-2nd July)seem to the best in many years!! At the moment the following artists will play:

Bob Dylan
Franz Ferdinand
Roger Waters
Queens Of The Stoneage
Morrisey
Deftones
Guns n´Roses (This one is for you Bluebird)
The Street
Sigur Rós

And many other bands. The good thing about Roskilde is that they also try to promote new bands from around the world and off course the greatest danish bands.

I´m seriously thinking of going. Who knows if when Dylan will come again.

Have you got information on some festivals? Are you going?

I almost went to that a few years ago when I was visiting some friends in Malmo, Sweden, but they didn't want to go because it was just a year or two after the Pearl Jam thing.

Still, I always look at the line-up every year, and it's always impressive.

Now that the "touring festivals" have died down in the U.S. (i.e. Lollapalooza, the HORDE festival, etc.), we are starting to get more annual festivals like those in Europe. (Coachella and Bonaroo being the most poplular - but Austin is starting to get a good one each year - the Austin City Limits festival)

Anyway, looks like a good line-up this year!

Austin City Limits Festival would be cool!

On Cape Breton Island we get the Drum Festival..it's cool we get premier drummers from around the world ..who play for the fans and each other along with workshops..its a musicians dream is what it is. Danny Seiwell gets here faithfully...he loves it here!
