The worst, easiest rhyme in the world has to be "Waiting" with "Anticipating." It's only worked once - with "Try a Little Tenderness." Since then it's just cliche.

I can take simple rhymes, but that's the only one that makes me cringe *almost* every time I hear it.

Actually the worst lyric rhymes end with five and drive, and ten and back again. Sorry Paul :?

My all-time least-liked rhyme is "all night" with "till the morning light". How many songs use that!! Drives me crazy!
