Not a big band here in the UK but I certainly remember one radio hit from about '81..I think it was called "Just Between You & Me". Great song! :salute


Yeah, they were big here in their native Canada.
I enjoyed them very much when they were making hit records as I was a young teen.
I sort of rediscovered them and was shocked how McCartney-esque
they were.Very 'Wings' like, I think. Oh they're still around by the way, touring all over the great white north.
I go back so far... I'm in front of me!

Great album you won't be dissappointed.
The thing I love about The Fratellis is that you feel you know the songs on first hearing. Just great singalong rock & roll. Anyone think their lead singer sounds a bit Lennon-ish at times?

My new fave right now (until Electric Arguments comes out of course) is Fear Of A Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree. I honestly can not get enough of this band right now, and almost no one has heard of them here in the states.
