The irony, of course, is that I really don't like the Clash that much. I was listening to Annie Lennox's remake. [;)]

Do you have the Wild Thornberry's soundtrack? I don't, but I think that Paul Simon song is excellent. You know, the one "I'm gonna watch you grow, I'm gonna watch you shine...." I forget the name of it.

I don't have it! I need it, though. I do like it a lot. It will be interesting to see Simon perform it at the Academy Awards.

Speaking of soundtracks, I was listening to the Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack last night. Lots of great stuff on there. It's definately a "mood" album.

Wonder that it seems that Shankar never cared a lot about her... it´s really a pity.

Peace.

I've wondered about that, Nito. I don't know the full story, do you? Do they even have a relationship? I assume he didn't raise her?

Yeah, I just read it in a newspaper about the Grammy´s award and Shankar really didn´t care about her childhood neither when she was teenager though he recognizes her as his daughter. At Norah´s turn, she also doesn´t mention anything about his dad, probably of course for his indifference about her... Her influence comes from his mom, that liked to hear Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin and jazzist tunes. I think she wouldn´t like to use sitar in her songs...LOL[:D]

Peace.
