My top 5 as of now: Mission: Impossible, The Rockford Files, House M.D.(1rst season), M.A.S.H, The Wild Wild West.

There are many more great ones, though...

My two favorite westerns are "The Wild Wild West" (great, innovative theme !) and "Lancer" (don't recall the theme song, though).

As for series on agentes and such, my take is "Persuaders", BTW with a fantastic theme song !!

The Andy Griffith Show has to be the number one most recognized theme song! My five:
1 Andy Griffith Show
2 The Monkees
3 Flintstones
4 Star Trek (From the 60's)
5 The Bob Newhart Show (the 1970's show)

Come on people...are we so young here that no one mentions the Courtship of Eddies Father? Jeesh. Wait...maybe that means that I am just a geeser. Nice, very nice.

"People let me tell you 'bout my be-e-est friend. he's my one boy, my cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy." All expertly sung by Harry Nielsen.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.
