Log-In Question

Mike--

Since my problems a few days back, a few things have changed (at least for me)

I now have to log in each time I visit....

It makes me log in twice...meaning that I sing on to the index, I log-in, and it takes me to the forum Index, and then says I'm not logged in. I then hit log-in again...I then log-in, and I am allowed to log-in, but with this scenario, I lose the value of "topics since last visit" thing, because it thinks my last visit was during my first log-in. Are you confused yet? lol....

Perhaps you mofified your security or cookies on your browser. Is anyone else experiencing any similar problems ?

When you login do you check off the checkbox to automatically login ?

You have lost me, SIR! Seriously..it's been happening on both the home PC and the laptop....

Yes--but ti doesn't seem to make any difference....in order to stay logged in, i have to keep the site up...otherwise, i have to log in 2 times....

What is the URL for the first time you log in ? and then 2nd.

Well.....it made me log out TWICE, lol.

Then....I came back and I only had to log on once....

I know--you think i'm kookoo, lol. But something strange was going on...

and it should, perhaps your bookmarked site is to an old URL hence the password problems before, once you logged in it would bring you back and forth to the new site and old.

I'll take down the old site.

Let me just delete the bookmark....and add a new one. that would be easier....and thanks again.
