CHOKE!!!
Sounds GREAT to me. Much better than that crap that Spector puked out 35 years ago. I'm so glad that they finally released this material as it was meant to be.....
some how i think you'll eat-up any beatles release with a spoon now matter how bad it sounds.
Somehow I think you are wrong---LIB was always my least fave. The production is mostly horrid and I've felt like this since it came out in 1970. It just never SOUNDED like a Beatles release or what I heard and saw in the movie. Naked does. 'nuff said.
I like the original LIB more. The new one stings my ears something horrid. though, i respect your oppinion.

Would you really have wanted it to sound like it did in the movie?
they sound like they'd barely played together in that movie...

I didn't mean the rehearsals that are shown. I mean the production...live playing vs. live playing and having Spector drown out some parts and add strings and choir to others.

Releasing this thing was a big mistake.
Anyone can tell by listening to the original recordings that this is not "naked".
"Doctored" is more like it.

but its just a great sounding record. this gives us a taster of what the re-releases will sound like if they ever appear. the acoustic guitar in I Me Mine just sounds fantastic.
But, they shouldn't have pasted takes together to make perfect ones, and I would've preferred a true "Get Back" album

The original version of Don't Let Me Down is better too. No worries though...when they FINALLY get around to re-mastering the Beatles catalogue, I will get the original LIB too.

I personally like Let it Be Naked better than the orignal Let it Be.I think The Long and Winding Road was better though with orchestra. But I especially think Two of Us sounds better on Let It Be Naked! :D

I am tending to agree with you, Fool.

But my problem with LIBN is that some of the songs are composites from 2 or 3 different takes.

Doesn't stop me loving to listen to it tho :D

That's true of some songs on almost all of their albums. But..I understand what you are saying since it was orignally planned to be a live type album. But..thank God for this offering...I never listen to the Puked on Spector version anymore.

I really enjoy listening to the album, but it should've been the "Get Back" album. If it's supposed to be raw and "naked", then why make it more and more refined and perfect?

but i listen to the old and new versions about the same amount
